Clear terms for agreed work.

GoGo Cabs LTD is a Cambridge-based private-hire company. A website form, email or telephone conversation is an enquiry only. A journey is not confirmed until GoGo Cabs has accepted the details and confirmed availability, timing and price.

Information supplied

Customers must provide accurate pickup, destination, date, time, passenger, luggage and contact details. Driver applicants must provide accurate licensing, vehicle, DBS-status and availability information.

Quotations and bookings

Airport transfers, long-distance journeys and other private-hire work are quoted individually. A quotation may take account of route, timing, waiting time, parking, tolls, vehicle availability and any special requirement. Unless stated otherwise, a quotation applies only to the journey details supplied.

School transport

Regular school transport and contracted work must be agreed separately. Safeguarding, passenger needs, licensing, suitability, communication and the requirements of a school, council or contracting body may need to be satisfied before work is accepted.

Changes and cancellations

Tell GoGo Cabs as soon as possible if journey details change or a booking is no longer required. Any cancellation charge or notice period will depend on the quotation, booking or contract agreed for that work. GoGo Cabs will communicate any applicable term before accepting the work.

Passengers and luggage

Passengers should be ready at the agreed pickup point and time, wear seatbelts where required, behave safely and respectfully, and take responsibility for their belongings. The number of passengers and amount of luggage must be suitable for the agreed vehicle.

Safety and conduct

A driver may refuse or end a journey where conduct is abusive, unlawful or creates a safety risk. Nothing in these terms requires a driver to act contrary to road-safety, licensing or safeguarding requirements.

Delays and events outside our control

Traffic, weather, road closures, accidents and other events outside reasonable control can affect pickup and journey times. GoGo Cabs will take reasonable steps to communicate significant disruption but cannot guarantee a journey time in those circumstances.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that exclusion or limitation. Any other responsibility will be considered in light of the agreed booking or contract and the circumstances of the journey.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Notice.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights a consumer has to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

GoGo Cabs may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The terms applying to an agreed booking are those communicated or published when that booking was accepted, unless a later change is agreed.
